How to delete specific data from your Splynk account — without deleting the account itself.

Delete entire account →Option 1 — Delete items from inside the app
Most data in Splynk can be deleted individually from inside the app at any time:

| Posts & photos | Open the post → tap … → Delete. |
| Chat messages | Long-press the message → Delete. |
| Pickups / drop-ins you created | Open the event → Manage → Cancel & delete. |
| Leagues you created | League settings → Archive or Delete league. |
| Profile photo / bio | Profile → Edit → remove or replace the field. |
| Date of birth, gender, phone | Profile → Edit → clear the field. |
| Location history | Settings → Privacy → Clear location history. |
| Push notification tokens | Disable notifications in your device settings, or sign out of Splynk. |
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
For data that cannot be deleted from inside the app (e.g. backup copies, analytics identifiers, or bulk requests), email us from the address associated with your Splynk account. Tell us exactly which categories of data you want deleted.
We respond within 30 days. You may be asked to verify ownership of the account.
What can and cannot be deleted
Can be deleted on request: profile fields (name, photo, bio, date of birth, gender), posts and media, chat messages you sent, location history, device tokens, and analytics identifiers tied to your account.
Cannot be deleted: anonymised aggregated analytics, records we must keep by law, and audit logs of the deletion request itself. Encrypted backups purge automatically within 90 days.
